How To Make “It” Happen

Whether you are building a house or building a relationship, you’ve got to have a vision, to make it happen. If you go in blind eye, and just have a go, you will quickly learn that it is more work than you had anticipated. I am not saying that you cannot be spontaneous in your pursuits, and that if you do, you will not yield fantastic results. I am just saying, that it helps if you have a vision of where you are going ahead of the game.

All great athletes, entrepeneurs, actors, architects, engineers and story tellers HAVE A VISION ahead of time. Yes, they may (and probably will) add or delete part of the plan as they REFINE THE VISION, but they have a vision out the starting gate.

YOU”VE GOT TO HAVE A VISION TO BUILD YOUR DREAMS.

Let me clarify further…

If you need to move out of your home, but you don’t know where to go, how does that make you feel? A little disoriented perhaps? Insecure? Unstable?  Yet,  if you have a vision ahead of time, of at least some clarity about your next step, you will most likely be looking and finding,  your next situation that most matches aspects of your vision. It is the old jungle rule: Never let go of a branch before you’ve got the next one in sight.

What is your vision? What are you “seeing?” What are you thinking about when creating a goal?

Whether it is in your personal or professional life, no matter how big or how small your goals, remember to create a vision to build your dreams.

Here are a few steps to help you along the way:

  • Write It Down - I like to ask myself, ” In a perfect Universe, how would I like it to be? ” Write down your vision of how you see “it”. Get specific. The more detailed you are the more alive it becomes. EX: Your ideal house has how many beds/baths etc?
  • Use All Your Senses – Make sure you are including not only visual awareness, but auditory and olfactory and kinesthetic sensing. EX: Your ideal house is quiet, or you can hear the buzz of the city. The smell of the local coffee shop wakes you up in the morning, or the wafting of the sweet smell of the morning dew on the grass.
  • Make A Vision Board - Put photos, clippings, words and other images together in a “dream” collage. EX: If you always wanted to live in the country but you live in the city now, create a collage of images that contain all the qualities you want in your new home on the land you’d like to live.
  • Remember Your Relationships -  Include in your Vision Board the people you want to be with you, sharing in your experience. If you don’t know those people yet, put images and words of qualities you’d like to experience within relationship. EX: If you are single and want to create a home with a significant other that isn’t in your life yet, put images of couples enjoying themselves in the way you can only now dream of, into your collage.
  • Create Some Affirmations – When you’ve made your VisionBoard, you want to make it real NOW, not in some future scenario. You have to bring it here. You do that by affirming the fact that it is true now. Using ” I AM” and ” I HAVE” statements help you to bring your future visions into present time. EX: I am living in my ideal home in the country. I have a rich and rewarding relationship with my lover.
  • Placing - Now that you’ve made your VisionBoard and your affirmations, place them in a place you are going to see them daily. Use your affirmations in your conversations with yourself and others. Make it a part of your daily life and soon you will see that the vision you created is the dream you are living.
  • Forget about “it” – After you’ve created it, you’ve got to kind of let it go and forget about it. Trust the process. Don’t work it so hard. Just have fun and notice the evidence around you that the Universe is bringing you exactly what you asked for.

Now as humans, we are famous for getting in our own way. If your dream has not happened, ask yourself if you really want it. If you do, ask yourself if you think you can have it. If you don’t, then perhaps make a vision board of creating more trust, or self esteem.

THE ONLY REASON A DREAM WONT HAPPEN IS BECAUSE SOME PART OF YOU THINKS IT WONT! If you create a negative imprint in your creating, you are just adding another weight on your fishing line, brother. If you believe “this stuff doesn’t work” you will build on that nightmare, sister. Just be a kid again and dwell in the realm of imagination.

All this can be backed by physics. Everything is made up on waves and particles. “It” is a wave of energy until it is observed. When “it” is observed, by the viewer’s perception, “it” becomes a particle, which turns into a ” thing.” And this dear reader, is how a vision becomes a dream and the dream becomes reality.

As Albert Einstein quoted,” Imagination is more powerful than knowledge.” We’ll leave that for another discussion. For now, let it be food for thought.

Happy visioning!!

Creating In The New Year, 2010

Leading Edge Creating –

Shepard looking into Universe 10 progressive things you can do to improve your life:

1) Be only available for the reality you choose to experience.

2) Find things to be joyful about and if you can’t be joyful, find what you appreciate and you will be on your way to joy.

3) If it ain’t working, accept it, change it or leave it and trust you will create something better… and do.

4) Recreate yourself. Ask, ” who do I choose to become? “  Then take actions to make it so.

5) Do things you feel good about.

6) Be around people, situations and environments that stimulate you positively.

7) Aim to be in “complementary” relationships. It is a healthier and more enjoyable state of being with someone, than “compromise.”

8) Monitor the quality of your thoughts. Your mind is your ally or your enemy, depending on what thoughts you are thinking.

9) Work out your relationship with money!! Is it healthy or do you need to ditch your current beliefs and habits for some new ones? This is a collective issue too and each person who finds new states of prosperity during these times, adds to shifting the global belief system from surviving to thriving.( I am very passionate about assisting people through this place and am offering more skill sets to be abundant in a changing economic climate. Stay tuned!)

10) Allow support into your life. You do not need to do this journey ALONE. A wise person knows when to seek counsel.

Practice at least one of these suggestions and you will notice your life changing in positive ways. Weave them into your New Year’s intention. Feel free to contact me for any clarifications. Let me know how it is going. Well wishes to you!

Welcome to the “Ask Your Soul Coach” blog

April 1st, 2009

Hi,

This is the fist blog I have scripted and may take some time working out the kinks. Please bear with me. The purpose of this blog is to address questions and issues that you Dear Reader, are asking about. Then if there are comments or added information from others, all interested parties can learn and grow from the posted sharings. It seems that the main issue these days is money worries, economic concerns and ” where the heck are we going, if all is going to hell in a handbasket?” As I recently posted on my Facebook profile ” I choose to participate in the innovative change on the planet, I am not participating in the recession, I choose to advance instead. It is not a blind eye but a wakeful heart that drives this choice…

” We live in interesting times” has been said by a Hopi Elder. It is time to change it up because change is upon us whether we like it or not. Embrace change, the possibilities are limitless!
So what can you do, we do, to add to the change positively?

  • Count your blessings
  • Be grateful
  • Monitor the Quality of Your Thoughts
  • Do what you love
  • Turn Off The News!!
  • Take back your power to choose your life
  • Volunteer
  • Create a spare change jar
  • Invest in gold
  • Save your seeds
  • Store like a chipmunk for the winter
  • Be communal
  • Know good, clean, water sources
  • Learn to heal yourself
  • Ask  yourself the questions that produce constructive answers
  • Believe and invest in a conscious relationship with your non-physical Universe
  • Clear your chakras
  • Clean out your closets, drawers and garage
  • Make space your friend
  • Remember the more you have, the more you have to take care of
  • Listen to nature
  • Get a life coach so you can live your dreams
  • Love your life!!!

Now at the end of the day, what really matters is your life. THIS IS YOUR LIFE! Do you love your life? Are you living it right? And by right, I mean do you feel good about your choices? Yes, there is ALWAYS room for improvement. But, if you feel like there is more, like there has got to be more, then open that door. Because you are right. There is more… always more.

The truth of it is, there is no recession, there is advancement or… you can choose to participate in the recession and the falling away of the old guard and systems that we have outgrown anyway. As the Man said, ” You cannot put new wine,  in old wine skins.” So clean it up people. Your thoughts, your actions, your bodies, your life. And if it isn’t growing corn for you anymore, bless it and pass it on. This includes relationships too and I am not just talking about relationships with people, I mean with items too.

Now if you want some clarity I am here. I have been on this conscious path for many years and many lifetimes. I kind of know my way around.  I would like to hear from you about anything that pertains to personal growth in these times. So ” Ask Your Soul Coach” and I will post your questions and respond. Feel free to comment. As far as ground rules, please be polite, one can express and allow others their own expression. Also, keep the questions as clear and concise as possible.

I send you blessings on your path.
